Only Beer geeks would understand

… But not only did John Palmer sign my book, but he actually accepted a 220zer. of MY beer- his recipe of ‘Belladonna Took’s Oaked Mild’ (aka NB’s John Palmer’s Elevenes).
He may just dump the bottle down the sink, but he actually took it!
I’m flying, and it isn’t just the beers I sampled.

Sadly, I understand. But if I gotta be a geek I guess being a beer geek ain’t the worst of it.

I think you mean “fanboy” rather than “geek”.

How did the beer turn out by the way?

I was looking at that recipe a while back.

Brewed it back in April- the PM version. It’s quite good. I really like the touch of smoked malt. Enough that last time I placed an order, I added 1 lb. of the Cherrywood smoked malt. Going to add it to my next porter and Scottish ales.
The JP11 is nothing spectacular, but it is quite good.
