Old yeast starter

I made a yeast starter 6 weeks ago but never got around to using it. I used a stirplate, let it finish and then refrigerated the flask. The yeast was the Wyeast Belgian Stout that is no longer available.
Can I still use this yeast? I was thinking about making another starter batch the night before brewday to get it going again. Any thoughts?

Make the starter at least 4-5 days before brew day if you are concerned at all.

Just take you viability loss into account and make another starter.
