I’m a long time beer brewer just starting with wine making. I recently started a Cellar Craft Sterling Global Cuvee Barbera
kit. Despite the instructions mentioning oak addition and the description talking about it being “fermented on…untoasted American oak,” there was no oak in the kit. We triple checked all the packets, totally emptied the box, even checked in the juice pack and couldn’t find any.
Am I missing something? I just started the fermentation…should I just add some oak? How much? Any special instructions?
