I bought caps the other day and put them on my beer. They are the o2 absorbing kind and after doing research I found out not to use one-step. Well I didn’t know that and I used one-step. Luckily I brew one gallon batches so I don’t have many misused caps on my beers. Are they in danger and will they carbonate correctly? I assume they will be drank rather quickly so hoping things will be fine.
Your beer will be fine and carbonate just fine…by soaking them in starsan you simply nullified the “extra” time you might be able to store the beer because you used the 02 absorbing caps…I’ve done the same thing with no negative effects! Enjoy that beer!
