Hello is there a way to calculate the potential FG on northern brewer recipe kit’s . I know stuff like mash profile, yeast, fermentation temp ect you have to take into account for the FG.?
There is no way to be precise. Even the attenuation percentages the yeast manufacturers print are only for comparison of yeasts, not predictors of FG for a fermentation.
Best FG information is from brewers that have used the same yeast, for the same recipe. Even here there will be a range of FGs achieved, but it should be a very narrow range .
