Well, the description from the brewery says “Dublin dry stout” style. Pretty sure they mean Guinness. I’d start with a solid dry stout recipe and tweak from there. I haven’t had Old No. 38 in over a decade, so I can’t help too much. Their brewpub in Fort Bragg is pretty cool as I recall. Neat little coastal town too.
