Hi guys,
First time brewing with the Brown Ale Starter Kit. I think I did everything right, except maybe checking on things sooner. It was bubbling away 2-3 days after brew day, but than went quiet. I haven’t been checking on it, but opened it up on Day 10 and I don’t see a lot of evidence that it did what it should. Was expecting more crust on the sides and maybe a layer on top. I don’t have a hydrometer. Any advice?

Looks like fermentation is probably complete. Wait about another 3 or 4 days before bottling, just to be on the safe side. And congratulations – you have made beer!
