I really enjoyed this lightweight lager and would love to get any help available to attempt a clone.
The website lists the following:
Bitterness: 20 IBU
Alcohol by Volume: 4.6%
Original Gravity: 10.95° P
Malts: Pale (Premium 2-row)
Hops: Mt. Hood, Hallertau, Sterling, Millenium
A simple starting recipe would be something along the lines of:
For 5.5 gallons @ 75% extraction efficiency:
8.75 lbs American Pale 2-Row
.5 oz. Mount Hood 60 min 4.8AA
.5 oz. Hallertau Mittelfruh 20 min 3.75AA
.5 oz. Sterling 10 min 8.7AA
.5 oz. Millenium 0 min 15.5AA
Mash @ 148F for 90 minutes.
The yeast is probably something like American Lager (2035) or German Lager (S34/70) yeast, may even be Pilsen Lager (2007).
Though they don’t state it, they may use 7lbs of Pale 2-Row and 1lb of some type of sugar/adjunct to get the attenuation up, though that’s probably a long shot.
The hops schedule could be adjusted to move the middle 2 more toward the flameout, but that would remain to be seen.
The hops schedule will be the trickiest part to get right.
Thanks for the great info!
