NB kit for Oberon?

My friends have been enjoying my brewing efforts this summer. They would now like me to make something that mimics the taste of Oberon. Looking through the catelog. Any suggestions? Thanks

Not sure of a kit that comes close…however, I brewed an extract clone of Oberon that didn’t turn out too far off…Here’s the recipe as I brewed it…all ingredients for it can be purchased from NB.

Oberon - extract

Steep:

12 oz Munich & 8 oz Belgian Caravienne at 150° for 30 mins
remove grains and add 2½ lbs light DME & 3½ lbs wheat DME.
Bring to a boil and add:
1 oz Hersbrucker 3.3% for 60
½ oz Hersbrucker 3.3% for 30
½ oz Saaz 3.5% for 15
1/3 oz Saaz 3.5% for 7 minutes

Wyeast 1010 American Wheat yeast

OG: 1.057, FG: 1.014, IBU: 24, SRM: 7, ABV: 5.5%

While I didn’t use a traditional wheat yeast, the wife and I tend to shy away from the “nose” created by many types using 1272 at the lowest advised range gave a very clean ferment. The wheat really shined through on this one.
Brewed for the wife’s b-day party, and all 3 gallons were gone in about 2 hours!!!

I didn’t include my salt additions, as they likely aren’t applicable to your water source.
