MyLager, tweaks?

Hello, I made this last year without the flaked rice and more two row and I thought it was really good. Do you think adding the rice will let more of the hops come through ? Make it taste less malty ? Or, not much different at all ? I don’t really care about the style, it just seemed to fit.
Any comments or feedback welcome, thanks.

Protein rest @ 122f 15 min. Then 150f. for 60

If you want to keep it like a Dort, lose the rice. If you don’t care about that, leave it in. The rice will likely let the hops come through a bit more. And I’d skip t he protein rest with that grist bill…it just isn’t needed and could be detrimental.

Thank you Denny. I will leave the rice in and forget the protein rest !

Cheers.
