While I was waiting on all my supplies to come in, I went ahead built a little beer shop in my garage. I can only post 3 pics on this thread but I have more if anyone wants to see the pex line install to the new utility sink. Brew day is February 26th. Wish me luck!
I’m very jealous. My garage is a mess. I mash in my kitchen, boil in the driveway, ferment under my stairs, and store supplies in 2 basement utility rooms. Very nice setup.
Very nice! I’d like to build something more permanent in the basement someday. Just have to get rid of all the stuff we’re storing for family “just for a month or 2” even though it’s been years. Does your sink drain to anything or just to the floor?
Wish mine was that way!!! I have to store my gear in two different places when not in use…It,s a real pain sometimes chasing everything down to do a brew…But I do it…LOVE TO BREW!!! Tank

To the floor. I can’t figure this one out. There is no route that is practical. I;m going to try to make some kind of mobile receptacle or drain hose. In the meantime a large bucket will do.
Depending on the volume of water that you have to drain, a set-up using a large hvac condensate pump might work-although if you’re draining more than just water(which will be the case I’m sure) another type of pump would be needed. Maybe a sump pump in a bucket and a discharge line to a gutter drain outside. Just randomly spewing thoughts here.

I would just hook a piece of PVC to the drain and angle it out of the garage.
