I have brewed many IPAs in the past, but this one has hop floaties in it. Is this from dry hopping with an oz of pellets? It tastes great though and smells even better. I am worried my friends will be turned off by the floaties.
This happened to me once when I wasn’t careful racking off of the settled dry hops. I was also worried that other “uninitiated” folks would turn up their nose at it.
But I named it “Hopschlager”, you know like Goldschlager, that has little gold floaties in it. Everyone loved it and just assumed it was intentional.
Had this happen to a pale ale I did. Just let your pours sit for a minute or two and it will all settle to the bottom.
