My hops are close to ready

So I did a rye ale yesterday and its fermenting now. I decided that I want to use my fresh hops in it so after one week of fermenting I will add an ounce or so of my fresh hops. Do I have to do anything before I add them. Can I pick em and just toss them in the bucket? Do I need to crush them, or dry them?

I was wondering the same exact thing today as I was picking some of my hops.

I feel bummed. The nonsense writing spammer guy is getting more responses to his wackiness than this question.

From what I have read you can indeed dry hop with them fresh. It would just be a little bit different character than if they were dried. If I could have timed it right this year, I would have done some fresh dry hopping myself.
