I went to pull a pint of my first IPA and nothin came out. Opened my keggerator and noticed the beer in the line was frozen! Shook the keg and could hear ice. Don’t know why the fridge dropped to such cold temps. My question is, will me beer be affected by the freeze? I haven’t even had a pint yet! 6 weeks of waiting for my first IpA I have ever brewed. F!
get the temp under control, thaw, drink, gtg
Take some of the ice out and enjoy an ice IPA? :cheers:
Thawed er out. Tasted fine.
Get a thermometer and keep an eye on your fridge for a few weeks to see what kind of behavior it has. I prefer the beer at 44°F and it’s easier on the compressor.
