Mix pellet and whole hops for dry hop?

I have a Chinook IPA, extract, third time making it, but first full boil.

I have 1 oz pellet from the kit for dry hop,
I want to add more…

ok to add 1 oz whole to the 1 oz pellet for dry hop?

or would that be wierd?

Perfectly OK and the beer will be better with the extra oz of hops!

I do this when I have a variety in both pellets and whole. I make a bag to hold the hops with cheese cloth so I feel the pellets get all clumped together, and I don’t know how efficient my dry hopping is. I add some whole hops to spread things out a bit and hopefully get the beer to flow through better.
