I brewed a Megalodon Imperial Red Ale extract kit last Sunday. I pitched 2 packs Wy 1056 and it is still chugging along. no worries…Since this is basicaly my first good sized beer. and i still have 3 weeks according to instuctions to bottle, should I worry about adding extra yeast for priming or just add the priming sugar and go for it? This is the longest I,ve had a ferment going and i am somewhat…curious…Thanks Tank :cheers:
I did mine last fall. I also pitched two packs because I didn’t leave time for a starter. Although for me it was one 1056 and one US-05. I did not re-yeast at bottle time, but I wish I did. I was not happy with the carb level. It was carbed, but very lightly.
