Making a Gose

I am planning on making a partial mash Gose. Here is the recipe I came up with:
6 Lbs. Wheat extract
1 Lbs. Pilsner malt
1 Lbs. Acid malt
.5 Oz Northen Brewer hops
1 oz Sea Salt
1 oz. corriander
White Labs WLP630 Berliner Weisse Yeast

I am very new at creating recipes and I have never before made a partial mash recipe. Any tips on amounts or thoughts on the recipe would be greatly appreciated.

A lb. of acid malt seems like a lot.

What would be a more reasonable amount?

First, tell me what the purpose of it is.

The purpose was to add a slight acid tang to the beer.
