Any Wisconsinites out there tried New Glarus Moon Man “No Coast Pale Ale”? Any specific kit that anyone knows of that comes within shouting distance of that taste (extract only though…it is only my second batch)?
Have you emailed the brewery. I’m about 50/50 with breweries helping out with recipe information.
It’s been awhile since I’ve had Moon Man, but it seemed like a pretty straightforward pale ale that was pretty light in color. Here’s where I would start
All Grain
9 lbs 2-row
1 lb Caramel 20
OR if you’re doing extract
6 lbs Gold LME
1 lb Light DME
Hops (the website doesn’t list the hops, so this is a complete, wild-a$$ guess)
1 oz Cluster -bittering
1/2 oz Cascade -flavor
1/2 oz Glacier - flavor
1/2 oz Centennial -flame out
1/2 oz Willamette -flame out
Yeast
WY1056, US-05, or WLP001
