Looking for a maibock recipe

Looking for a good maibock kit or extract recipe.

Thanks in advance brewers!

Never mind…found one on NB, must have spelled it wrong in my original search.

Any brew this (or any other) maibock with ale yeast?

You might look into the Saflager S-23 yeast. It can ferment at higher temps (61-68) like an ale, but gives a lager profile…or, at least that’s what the site says.
PS. love me a good maibock

Ive used wy1007 german ale yeast with a marzen recipe fermented at 60 and it turned out great!

I love that yeast. Should make a fantastic maibock ale. You really can’t tell much difference between 1007 and a regular lager yeast, it’s really THAT good.

Excellent!

I’ll check out both yeasts and continue the maibock march in March.
