Lets talk winter releases that get you excited

I enjoy the Samuel Smith’s Winter Welcome if I can get it when it first comes out. It is usually oxidized by December. St. Bernardus Christmas and Dupont’s Avec les Bons Voeux are great. I have had Corsendonk’s Christmas Ale, but the last time I ordered it from Belgium they sent me old bottles and it was not very good. Unfortunately, it is not available in Texas.

Not really my bag but Shiner released a Christmas Cheer beer that’s brewed with peaches and pecans. The peach flavor is distinct but not in your face. It’s a bit too sweet for my taste and after one I have to switch back to my homebrew. Mixed it with an awful batch of coffee stout I made and was able to improve on two beers!

Boulevard Brewing’s Nutcraker Ale.

Never have liked the term “nutcraker” but I love the beer.
