Can anyone think of a reason not to leave an immersion chiller in the whole boil? I’m in the process of making a 100% stainless hop spider and I think it’d be easier just to have the filter bag sit inside the chiller for the whole boil rather than pulling it out and putting the chiller in at 15-20 minutes like I usually do.
Should be fine. Just watch your hoses, don’t want to trip and pull a boiling kettle over…
Probably make it harder to clean.
