Lambic bottling

made my first dawson’s kriek, been in carboy since December or January, once I bottle going to let it sit till this Christmas before I give them out or drink them, would I be ok to add sugar to the bottles then add beer and cap. Will the bottles carb in the allotted time in this manor

Yes, they’ll carb in time. I would add a bit of fresh yeast at bottling, since the original pitch of yeast probably isn’t too healthy by now. Be careful about measuring your sugar, though. Lambics are notorious for making bottle bombs.
