Lactose question

I always thought lactose was not fermentable. I made a 10 gallon batch of imperial pumpkin that needs sweetening. I planned to keg half (which I already did) and bottle the other half. The NB description says “not fully fermentable” but the bag says non-fermentable. Whats the deal? Will I end up with bottle bombs if i add lactose (half lb) and priming sugar?

It’s non-fermentable. You’ll be fine.
