Well I brewed a 5.5 gallon batch today and had maybe 6.5 gallon after the boil. This new Jaded Hydra chiller cooled my wort from about 205 to 62 deg f in 9 minutes. Not even at full flow as I need a better output hose on it. Amazing is all I can say …compared to my little undersized chiller I had been using. This saved me a ton of time … Maybe 40 min.
It’s a lot of copper that’s for sure.

Love my counter flow chiller. Mine is a homemade one, but still does the job well.
