Is it possible to tell the difference between fuggle and ken

I planted the two, but for the life of me I can’t remember which is which. I should have marked them,however was in a hurry this spring on so many things. :frowning:

By Ken I think you mean Kent Goldings. If so, then yes there will be a huge TASTE difference.

I don’t know about the plants, but fuggles have a strong resin character, and EKG has a more citrus and peppery character in the beer.

By experience and reading, I’d say: EKG = flowery/spicy Fuggles = earthy / woody

smell dirt then smell the hops…whichever one smells more like the dirt = fuggles.
