What is the ratio for oxiclean to water when soaking beer bottles?
The title should read Oxiclean. Dumb autocorrect.
It’s been a while since I’ve soaked bottles, but I recall it didn’t take much to remove labels. Maybe 1-2 tablespoons per gallon. More if you’re also trying to remove crud from inside the bottles.
Some bottle labels are more stubborn than others and may require more soaking time and/or more Oxi.
Around 2 Tbsp. per 5 gal. is plenty.
