Whats the best way to store full kegs? I plan on keeping them in the basement, just not sure how much psi i should hit them up with.
If I’m bulk conditioning a bigger beer in a keg outside of cold storage, I’ll just hit it with 30psi to get a good seal. That should be all you need to do as long as you don’t have a leak.
I do the same when storing; hit it with around 25psi to be sure I got a good seal and then set it aside. Occasionally, I will pull it out and hit it with some more CO2 - depending on how long you store it. If I can keep it connected and in my kegerator, I will, and just not tap it.
