How long does the dry hop aroma generally last?

In general, does dry hopping fade quickly?

I did an APA in Oct., started drinking in Nov and Dec and it had a really nice hop aroma and flavor. It seems in the new year to have faded quickly.

I had the second to last bottle last night and it had almost zero nose and was pretty boring. A local competition reflected this as well.

It was a light dry hop, .75oz @ 7 days, so I am sure that’s part of it.

Sounds about right, especially at that hopping rate. I’ve found that cold storage helps hold the dry hop aroma a bit longer as well.
