How do I add Basil and Peppercorns to a beer?

I want to brew a peppercorn basil Saison pretty soon.

What is the best way to add the peppercorns and basil?

I’m looking for a nice hint of both, not too over powering.

I’ve made a honey basil ale before and the basil replaced aroma hops. I’d probably do the peppercorns at flameout (which is when I’ve added coriander and figure they’re similar). So I’d add both at the end of the boil.
