Hoppy Wheat

Ok I brewed a hoppy wheat two weeks ago. I lost a gallon in the kettle due to trub and a hard lesson learned that you put whole hops in a bag. Well I just transferred it to secondary for dry hopping. My OG was 1052 and my final was 1006. I am sitting a 6.10% abv. If I were to add 1 gallon to top up when I keg this would that have any super ill effects besides lowering the abv and maybe a slight difference in flavor.

Personally Id leave it and enjoy the richer beer. 1.052 is not big enough to water down especially if you have dry hopped it but take my opinion for what its worth. I like my beers not much smaller than 1.048.

Agreed, leave it alone, it’ll taste much better and it’ll only be a few less bottles
