Hey,
i’m trying to figure out how to keep my boil ‘clean’, so it won’t get clogged in my chiller. To achieve this, i’m wondering about hopping with a nylon bag in the boil, where i’ll add my pellet hops.
has anyone done this? does it help?

Yeah that is what I do most of the time for our plate chiller. It seems to work fine. Look into making a hop spider if this is something you want to pursue.
Yep. that’s my next thought if this works out. for now, i’ll just hang the bag in with some twine

I have a large nylon bag I use, works great! Its long enough to tie to the lip of my keggle. Does a great job of keeping all those particles out.
