Honey malt

Have any of you ever used a Honey malt in a stout? I’'m thinking it might add a really great flavor to a really dark beer.

I will add something to the beer. But the name isn’t exactly what you will get from it.

I used some in a Sasion. I can’t tell you exactly what the flavor is. But it should be fine in a stout also.

I used some in a stout a few months back and it was delicious.
Added a nice sweetness that paired well with a malt
Not traditional for a stout, but who cares. I say, if its tasty, brew it

I agree. Go for it. I put some in my last batch of Stout Porter (that netherworld between the two styles) and it was lipsmackin’ delicious.
Just don’t overdo it, unless you want extra sweetness.
