we have a 50 foot copper wort chiller, that takes down to the 70’s in 30 or less. The more I read about it the more I think it has to be the sanitization process, we’re brewing tomorrow, we’ll leave the Star-san in and I’ll report back.
Don’t leave it in , just pour it out after the proper contact time, right before using the vessel. If it is still wet, it is still sanitary, if there is a bit of foam, no worries.
