Being relatively new to homebrewing (I’ve done 2 batches) I was hoping someone could point me out to a good Holiday type stout. I figure doing one now would put me in the ball park of having it ready in mid-December.

What exactly do you mean by “holiday” Stout? Spiced? Imperial? Fruit/chocolate? There are a lot of ways you can go with this.
I brewed this one I got from Austin Homebrew is June. Man, is it ever good. I used twice the chocolate.
