Altbier, and Farmhouse Biere DeTable bottled.
American Wheat in Primary
Australian “Down Under” Ale on deck to be brewed.
Waiting for garden to dry out to plant my hops rhizomes.
Just put my ESB and CDA on tap to check carb levels etc. They are for the Boonville Beer Fest camping trip next weekend. I am going to have to work hard not to drink too much before the Fest!
How’s that Simcoe APA? I have some Simcoe I’ve been trying to decide what to do with.
Only two taps for me: RyePA and cream ale.
Bottled: IPA, brown ale, stout, peppermint stout, firecrotch wheat, amber ale, blonde ale, and several “un-named experiments”[/quote]
Havent tried anything all Simcoe yet. Looking forward to it. I’ll let you know
Fermenting a C hop iIPA and a German Hefe. I have NOTHING bottled or otherwise containerized. I moved from Maine to Hawaii in November and just, JUST got everything unpacked and ready to go. I had to buy a chest freezer to brew here–in Maine I just kept my A/C cold and used a swamp cooler…too warm for that here.
FYI, it sucks to be a brewer here. There is only one store that I know of, and while they stock quite a bit of stuff, the freshness of the ingredients is questionable. And shipping from our host or any other site…how does $35 - $50 bucks for 20lbs of grain and a few ounces of hops sound? I know, horrible. Anyway, if any of you know of a good source that ships cheap, let me know. For now (and the next few years) I will be brewing moderate strength, basic recipes.
Dry Irish Stout (thank you NB for the bonus bombers )
Rye Pale Ale (homegrown Cascade)
Bavarian Hefe
Barley Wine (pretty old, last couple bottles)
Sweet and Chocolate Stouts (also old, last couple bottles)
Primary:
Wheaten Beatdown a la Fu (all homegrown Cascade)
Honey Wheat
Aging:
Stronghold - Belgian Dark Strong
On deck:
Russian Imperial Stout using Honey Wheat yeast cake
Pretty much what I did with my Dark Strong. Patersbier didn’t last long around here.
