HBS in Eugene, OR (Denny?)

A friend a work is wanting to start brewing extract. He’s a single dad with two small boys, not a lot of extra funds. We’re helping him out with some equipment,
curious about a good store in the Eugene/Springfield area for ingredients and advise. I did tell him about this forum. I live in Salem, so not familiar with what’s
available down south. Thanks, Mike.

I started getting all my ingredients and equipment at “valley vintner”. They are known as “falling sky” now. not the cheapest, but they have a fine variety of ingredients, and all the equipment he will need.

I recommend this forum for advice. The guys at falling sky are smart too, but it’s always good to double check their info

and… Go Ducks!

I hate to post it here, but free shipping at Morebeer.com on orders over $59

Thanks, I’ll pass it on.

Nothing wrong with shopping around.

+1 on Falling Sky. While you are there you can grab a pint at their brewpub.

I prefer the Home Fermenter Center to Falling Sky.

Why is that?

I checked out their website. I’ll pass it on to him, thanks.

I guess I’m just old school. It’s been around longer, the owner was one of the first BJCP judges in the PNW, and they treat me great.

All great reasons. I’ve been going to mine for close to 14 yrs.
