I do mash/lauter in a keg.[/quote]No picture handy, but it’s just a standard braid, maybe 6" long, one end attached to the pickup tube with a clamp and the other end tucked back into the same clamp, then tightened (makes a loop).

Maybe I need to shorten it. I used about 2’ with no loop. Kind of a lazy S.

I ended up just building a cheap & easy mashtun - here are some picts http://www.thetablelands.com

I’m going to start out with some super lazy mosher style no sparging and go from there.
