This almost made me want to go electric!
Opened up the propane tank and the rest of the regulator shot past my face. Left a pretty good gouge in the garage ceiling…
Holy crap, good thing it missed your face!
I could have been blinded, or worse… less pretty!
I make sure the regulator is always pointed away now. That thing shot off with surprising velocity. Just wanted to make sure everyone is aware this can happen, just in case.
Also… thank GOD I didn’t light the burner yet, or have a lighter going, or any other scenario that includes some kind of fire/spark.
Wow! I think I would be notifying the manufacturer.
