I’ve recently come across some green Spatan Oktoberfest bottles and was just wondering if anyone bottles in green bottles?
I’m planning on making a batch of Caribou Slobber next weekend and likely some of that batch will be going into the green bottles, and I was just wondering if there’s anything I need to know about the green bottles.

They’ll be fine, just keep them in a dark place to avoid skunking.

Yeah, the color isn’t as important for homebrew. You won’t be storing it on a store shelf. Look at the ring(?) right under the mouth of the bottle. Some are shorter than domestic bottles, and don’t seal well with a hand capper. A bench capper will work, though.
How in the heck does an entire, unopened 12 pack of green bottles from a PA brewery get skunked?
