Had the chance to get to Kalamazoo, so stopped at a couple places. Bells was great, good snacks and great beer. Olde Peninsula seems to be better for food and the beer was just OK. Finished the evening at the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange, wow what a place, 28 taps of craft beer. Great concept of beer prices fluctuating like the stock market, even had a market crash and got a couple of cheap pints. And the food, super good. Then got to Battle Creek the next day for Arcadia, walked in the door and saw the wood fired oven and knew it was pizza time. Had to sample all nine beers on tap and didn’t find a bad one. Anglers Ale, Double IPA and Loch Down were favorites. Good time and will definitely go back to these places.
