I think that’s perfect for a 1gal-1.5gal batch. I would probably try to find or rig a gasket for the lid (if it doesn’t come with one).

Btw I think glass is better than plastic because it won’t scratch and harbor bacteria. IMHO.

Need to outfit it with some kind of airlock also. Either drill it out big enough for a drilled stopper or small enough for the split O rings used on buckets.
