Gelatin and yeast

A brew bud of mine posed an interesting question and since I keg and only used gelatin once I seek help on the question. If you bottle and add gel to a secondary stage to help in clarification, will there be adequate yeast to help carbonate the corn sugar used for bottle conditioning?
Thanks, Mike

Yes. Unless you leave it sit for a year or so.

Thanks, I sorta assumed that gelatin was not exclusive to kegging. Much appreciated. Mike

I would reyeast a beer for bottling if it’s been sitting for more than 3 months… depending on the original yeast strain.
