Founders Dry Hopped Pale Ale

I was intrigued by Founders low IBU for an APA @ 35. It’s somewhat low compared to some other varieties of APA’s, and I’m not a huge fan of APA’s with heavy hopping. Founders delivered, although I think they may have overdone the dry hopping a bit.
*Aroma - sweet and citrusy with some grass from the hops
*Mouthfeel - smooth, medium-high carbonation
*Color - reddish amber, toward the high end for the style (prob 11-13??).
*Taste - I liked the taste, a bit more malty since the IBU’s were rather low.

Overall, I think this APA is smack-dab in the middle of what the style should be. It’s a little bit imbalanced, but I think Founders did a pretty good job.

I had this on tap at 7 Monks here in town and it was great! They said it was all cascade, but I don’t know for sure. Definitely an easy drinking pale ale that is flavorful, refreshing, and just hoppy enough.
