For $25 you can buy a keg lid with a welded tab on its underside that has a hole in it, to tie off to. It’s expensive, but it’s nice. I see that our host does not sell them, but MoreBeer does.
I also use the hose clamp method as I only have one lid that is flat on the bottom. My buddy has been welding stainless eyes to his lids, I might have him do that to my flat lid.
