First Time Dad

See, that makes a lot more sense to me than the 3 months I was quoted at the LHBS.

Some sources say that darker beers may boost milk supply for lactating women. Who knows? What I do know is that my wife loves her an oatmeal stout, and I’ve been wanting to make some, so now I know what I’ll be brewing up sometime late summer/early fall!

My son, now 23 left for Afghanistan last May and will be home mid june.
Before he left we brewed a Russian Imperial Stout that we can drink with
a good cigar when he returns. The wait is killing me, for his return and the
taste of the beer.

congrats and good luck. we have a boy 12 and a girl 10, i wasnt brewing when they were born but i would ask the wife for sure what she wants. then get a belgian tripel for yourself. you wont have alot of time and that will get the job done quickley.

Let’s see here… I have four children, aged 5 to 13, and I work 12 hour night shifts, and my wife works second shift, so, I carry the one, subtract weekends off, and…

You should be brewing at least once every two weeks, you should be gold.

Brew happy!!!

Interesting, my buddy went back to Afghanistan January 12th, and so I bottled 750mL of an almond joy stout for his return, that day, which I found out this week will be late June… God bless these fine men and the beer they consume.
