First time brew using Big mouth plastic with blowoff tube

This is my first brew with the new Big Mouth Bubbler starter kit and Caribou Slobber and my question is, Is the single port top of the wide mouth cover tight enough around the large blow off tube that I purchased along with the Big Mouth Bubbler a tight enough fit to keep sanitary as long the tube ends in a container with sanitizer in it?

Yes. It will be fine. The blowoff tube fits snugly in the ported lid.

I find that it’s not always tight but that I can play around with it until I get it at the right angle so it’s sealed.

I love my plastic big mouths(2). I normally use an airlock but when I use a blow off I terminate in cheap vodka. After a while the vodka takes on a great beer flavor!
