First post and in need of some help

Hi all im trying to connect a corny post to a 1/4 inch bsp tee being in england we use BSP threads
can some one help me where i can get an adapter from.
Thanks Longy.

Hi, Longy. I can’t help you with a source in the UK, but on this side of the pond we have an outfit called McMaster Carr that has a wide array of hardware items. Here’s a link to their page with BSP adapters:

You will also need to know what kind of keg you have as the threads differ from type to type. Here’s some information that you will need:

However, I think a problem you might encounter will be finding an adapter with the proper American thread as the sizes keg manufacturers’ use can be rather uncommon. Also, the adapters look to be fairly expensive, and I have no idea what overseas shipping would be. Perhaps a solution would be to use a threaded quick disconnect on the keg with a 1/4" swivel nut, a swivel nut on your BSP T and connect the two with a length of tubing.

Hope this helps,
John

I’m not sure if it would work but could you use a barb QD with a short length of tubing clamped on then adapt to BSP after that? Sorry it took so long for me to notice this BTW.
