First Brew with Mixed Results

So my first brewing effort was sort of a success. I’ve noticed that some beers are more “watery” tasting than others. The good ones are fantastic, but every once in awhile, one will lack an aftertaste and seem watered down. Any thoughts on this??

Cheers!

Could be due to inconsistent carbonation. How are you carbing? What priming sol’n, adding to each bottle or to bottling bucket? If you’re adding to bottling bucket, are you stirring every few beers?

That’s the only variable that I can think of. At this stage the entire batch should be pretty even due to mixing during fermentation and all.

If using a bottling bucket, it’s critical to stir your beer every few beers or so. Dissolving the priming sugar equally amongst all bottles will ensure equal amounts of carbonation.
