Finding Kegs?

Hey everyone,

I am new to the forum and have been homebrewing for about a year now. So far Ive been bottling all my beer. I think I want to trying kegging. I dont have any equipment yet and I know that it can be expensive to buy all the equipment brand new. After a year of brewing I know that a person does not not have to buy everything brand new. So, I am wondering if anyone has any insight into where I can find low cost kegs in the Prior Lake South Metro area.

There was a thread about that a few weeks ago, so info should be somewhat current (see link below). Some suppliers run out of some of the kegs time to time. I just got some from McEver Distributing. You may be able to get a better shipping rate if you buy closer to you, though.

Used is the way to go for kegs. I bought a new one first, and regretted it quickly. It’s shiny and pretty, but very expensive by comparison.

You’ll love kegging and wonder what took you so long to switch!
