Finally making the Caribou Slobber

Seems like a good percentage of people make this one with their first batch. I waited a couple years for whatever reason, but I’m looking forward to it being done. Cooked it last night.

It’s been a few months since I finished mine and I’ve still got another batch of it planned in a few months but I really enjoyed it. Since I make lots of hoppy IPA’s, I was looking for some variety and this hit the spot.
Never had the real thing so I can’t compare it but it was enjoyed by all.

I’ve been doing a lot of more niche type beers lately so I needed to make a normal session. My last three made were Chocolate Milk Stout, Bourbon Barrel Porter, and Belgian Trippel (still in carboy). Need to mix it up a bit better than that, but I got the Trippel as a Christmas present.
